I have great inspiration for advertising and marketing. Every day, I look at what the world’s biggest agencies are doing, what technologies they’re using, and what’s pleasing people in terms of design.

I will present here interesting ideas from large agencies that used the brand’s own product as a Design piece.

We’ll start with Burger King, which used its most famous product, the Whopper, in its advertisements.

Whooper

To tell the public that Burger King’s hamburgers do not contain preservatives and that all of its ingredients are 100% natural, DAVID Miami INGO Stockholm decided to run a campaign showing the Whopper in the molding process. The campaign was a success and won important awards at Cannes. Here, the creative team’s ability to find a creative solution to alert consumers that what they are eating is of good quality is clear. The advertising pieces that were used portray the day-to-day process of decomposing the sandwich, they used it on banners, TV commercials and at strategic points in different cities around the world.

Soy Sauce Posters

In this second piece, a Geometry Ogilvy Japan campaign. Using the soy sauce itself, Sagawa Shoyu wanted to show the delicacy and the way one of the oldest Japanese soy sauces is made.

This project won over the client and this resulted in several awards won by Geometry Japan.
